August 16th Lily celebrated her eighth birthday. Eight years since our Lily was born!! Wow how time flies. I thought I knew what love was, but quickly found out that there is no other love like the love for a child. Its amazing how quickly you form that bond. I only hope that some day Lily will understand and comprehend how important she is to us! Lily, you will always be our princess and my best friend!

August 1st. A day to celebrate!

Two years since we were struck by the infamous 07 flood! What a blessing the flood has been. A hard way to learn what is really important in life, but so many good things came out of it. We will never forget all the hundreds of people who came for the clean up, the food that was prepared and all the clothes and money that were donated! So many miracles came from this day. Life is so short. When times are tough we need to remember that things could be worse and life will get better! Its amazing how we learn from our trials. I can honestly say that I am greatful for the flood of 07.

The Little Luann Snack Shack

I posted the pictures in the wrong order!!! How annoying! Anyways, Grandma Donna helped us paint the snack shack. We then had homemade Ice cream night. We made vanilla and Rocky road and sold it with all the toppings you can imagine. Lily has made about 60 dollars with the two openings we've had. Thats after buying the ice cream maker and all the stuff we sold. We are going to take her to get her own savings account.
